The debaters at the November 25, 2014, event are Aaron Dinner, Professor, Department of Chemistry; Wendy Doniger, the Mircea Eliade Distinguished Service Professor, Divinity School; Austan Goolsbee, the Robert P. Gwinn Professor of Economics, University of Chicago Booth School of Business; Jeffrey Harvey, the Enrico Fermi Distinguished Service Professor, Department of Physics; Diane Herrmann, Senior Lecturer, Department of Mathematics; and Malynne Sternstein, Associate Professor, Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures. Shmuel Weinberger, Professor and Chair, Department of Mathematics, moderates; and Ethan Bueno de Mesquita, Professor, University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, is the master of ceremonies.
