Winning Now: Leading in a VUCA World

Join the Polsky Center for a special webinar on management strategies for founders to employ in today’s changing world.

Now, more than ever, leaders need a positive mindset and time-tested, battle-hardened frameworks to win in a VUCA world. VUCA refers to a time when the state of global affairs is volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous. This session will explore strategies for founders and CEOs to utilize in order to lead their teams during chaotic times and manage risk.

Maria Scott, founder of global regtech TAINA, will share her experience building the company and navigating challenging climates to scale TAINA. Maria will be joined by Chicago Booth Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship Gregory D. Bunch, who has lectured internationally on topics including strategy, creating customers, and innovation. Professor Bunch will share his expertise in strategic decision-making and managing uncertainty to offer strategies for leaders in today’s VUCA world. This session will be moderated by Randy Rivera, executive director of FinTEx and founder of Keen Advisors.

This virtual event will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 10:00am - 11:00am EST and is cohosted by Chicago Booth School of Business, FinTex, and the UK Department for International Trade.
